Individual Therapy
I have a compassionate, nonjudgmental, yet straight-forward approach and incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness techniques into individual sessions. We will target problems that interfere with your joy, contentment and achievement of goals. Individual therapy is a great place to start, and if you’ve already been in therapy for a while and feel like you aren’t getting what you need, please look at my DBT-Informed Skills Training options below that focus on developing practical tools to manage emotions.

Exposure and Response Prevention (ExRP)
ExRP is an evidenced based therapy specifically designed for treating Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. Sometimes OCD can go undiagnosed due to common misconceptions. OCD appears in many different forms, but has the common components of obsessions and compulsions that are present regardless of its manifestation. Obsessions are intrusive thoughts that are disturbing to a person and compulsions are either physical or mental actions that follow an obsession and serve to relieve a person’s distress. ERP is a time-limited treatment approach that can eliminate the symptoms and allow a person to live the life they desire.
